Teachers of God,

We're finishing up the 10 Pillars of Sin! Whoo Hoo! We learned that is basically insanity and that it's believing we can turn illusion into reality. I like to think of sin as the idea that I can break god. It's absurd. The Truth of who we are and meant to express is very clear when we are able to be present with what is actually occurring in our lives. Whether it's pleasure, pain, ennui or plain old fashioned worry. We can look, and be present with our bodies, the sensations that are generated and truly be present to our healing and enjoyment. Sin cuts this short and narrows our ability to experience reality.

This week look the end of Chapter 22: Salvation and the Holy Relationship. We're looking at Section V: Weakness and Defensiveness. The strong have no need to defend themselves. Truth needs no defense. Are we still explaining and asking permission for the passion God has placed on our hearts? Are we trying to convince others that it's okay to be us and pursue our dreams? Or do we defend our littleness and the illusions that get in our way! But I am too old! But I am too poor! But I don't have enough education! It's not true. The course describes these ideas as illusions you're trying to make real. Walk through them and they will disappear. Are you ready? We're here to help. It's done with your hand in mine. I'll be here for you. I need you to be here for me. That's how it's done. You are strong enough to do what God has asked you to do. Period.

Explanation of Images:

We often think we are up against the impossible. At the very least the very, very, difficult. When we complete a difficult challenge others say “You are so brave!” Or “You are so strong!” It doesn’t feel like that when we go through it. We confront some bit of illusion and suffering in our lives and we freak out, panic and listen to the voice that tell us how hard and difficult is the task before us. What if we knew that who we are is the strong one, the resilient one? The seemingly difficult task or thing we are faced with is actually a little mouse that has convinced us that it’s immovable. We struggled because we believed in the mouse and not our strength. Don’t let go of what GOD is asking you to do. Go ahead and do it. There is only a mouse in your way, whether you know it or not.
