Teachers of God,

Lesson for October 12th, 2016

Lesson 286

The hush of Heaven holds my heart today.

Father, how still today! How quietly do all things fall in place! This is the day that has been chosen as the time in which I come to understand the lesson that there is no need that I do anything. In You is every choice already made. In You has every conflict been resolved. In You is everything I hope to find already given me. Your peace is mine. My heart is quiet, and my mind at rest. Your Love is Heaven, and Your Love is mine.

The stillness of today will give us hope that we have found the way, and travelled far along it to a wholly certain goal. Today we will not doubt the end which God Himself has promised us. We trust in Him, and in our Self, Who still is One with Him.
Did you know that peace is here and it's a natural state for you? Did you that we cannot have peace without your help? Awareness that all is well makes it happen. We are reflecting the world we want to live and how live shows us who we think we are. Too often we think there are big things and little things to do. It's not true. What we do matters to our experience and how we participate with wholeness  Awareness is really powerful, especially when we join with others. ‚ÄčToday are aware of peace and are grateful.

Explanation of Images: It’s not difficult to be ourselves, though we often make it difficult. No one can tell us how to be who we are. Who we believe we are colors the way we see others in the world we live in. We have confirmation bias of our own beliefs. We see our strengths and faults in others. There is something that is just ours to do; we are the Divine in transient form. It requires us to look past the seeming darkness of ignorance to the expression of light we truly are and share that with others. When we live this way we see others this way as well and cooperate in creating the more beautiful world we know is possible. We are creating the world we experience by projecting suffering or participating with creation. We do this with others. We learn and sculpt this world and with our bodies with the bodies of our friends and family. It’s a holy task and we’re excited by what is ours to do. We’re not separate from our tasks or our communities no matter how it looks.
