The Fellowship of Awakening November 4, 2015

Teachers of God!
I am so proud of us! We went on retreat together and had a great time, built upon our connections with each other and learned something new about selves as well. We laughed, we cried and we listened to each other. I am so proud of this community.
If you're doing the lessons, we are in the Hall of the 2nd Coming. No wonder the Chapter the corresponds to it is called Healing of the Dream. It signals that we are awake once again to our good and begin to have fun and play instead of worry and work. It says in the Introduction to these 10 lessons:"Pray that the Second Coming will be soon, but do not rest with that. It needs your eyes and ears and hands and feet. It needs your voice. And most f all it needs your willingness. Let us rejoice that we can do God's Will, and join together in its holy light. Behold, the Son of God is one in us, and we can reach our Father's Love through Him." We need to be our bodies for our work on the Earth. Healing our bodies requires we heal our minds.
We're on Section Two: The Fear of Healing. Ever meet anyone that refuses to get well? Do we know the ways that we resist our own healing? Do we know the best way to heal others? Do you think that if you're not willing to pursue retribution then you've forgiven? Stop by, we're going to talk about Healing the Dream. We're going to see how to use our lovely bodies to do the healing work in this world.

Explanation of Images: The main tool of ACIM is forgiveness. The way the world teaches forgiveness is that we acknowledge the hurt, but don’t require the person to pay the just consequences of their acts. This isn’t forgiveness. Forgiveness is correction. In fact it’s proof that we are whole and complete as we are. When we act on our forgiving nature we heal ourselves and offer healing to others. We don’t listen to the world’s song of competition and lack, we listen to the Song of Love in our heart and call to others to join. We heal by healing ourselves and live healthy lives. Otherwise we’re going to be supervising a chain gang where our friends and relatives are subject our capricious generosity and kindness.
