The Fellowship of Awakening- November 20, 2013

Teachers of God,
We started the 10th Hall this week. We're putting up the pillars of the Hall of Creation. The Introduction to this Hall is sooooo great. It says "Creation is the sum of all God's Thoughts, in number infinite, and everywhere without all limit. Only love creates, and only like itself." As God is creating us we are in turn creating as well. We're either using this ability to frighten ourselves and others or we're using it to join together in celebration of what is real. This is the Hall of Creation and it's no accident that we are encountering this in one of the last three Halls. We have the Hall of the Ego next and then the Hall of the Miracle (of course!). We are using the tools of this course to reveal our creative nature. What do you want to create with us?

We're going to look at Chapter 28: The Undoing of Fear at the section called: The Greater Joining. Do you want to do everything yourself? Some do. Do you want help and comfort? Do you want to be appreciated for your talents, gifts and insights? Would you like to watch others achieve their goals and join in their perfect happiness? I know I've been stuck recently comparing myself and my desires to others. I used to get really down on my talents, comparing them unfavorably to others. When I developed a trusting relationship with Holy Spirit, I found out that I was uniquely qualified to be me, to do what I wanted, really wanted to do. This greater joining is about we do that relationship and together in community to support each other in our growth and not our illusions.

Explanation of Images:

All creation is a reflection of the face of God. If we believe we are just a separate piece of painting or the whole portrait ourselves we suffer. When we join in the creation of the peace, we are happy joyous and free and are fulfilling our place in the world. We aren’t different from each other despite appearances. And yet we remain unique expressions. We are a family, the children of God with no separation between us, closer even than twins. We see our face in everyone else’s face when we are looking with the eyes of the awakened Child of God.
