Teachers of God!

Lesson 146

My mind holds only what I think with God.

(131) No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth.
(132) I loose the world from all I thought it was.

We are moving toward the end of Chapter 13! The end of guilt. Chapter 13 is all about guilt, all about the past and all about meaningful change. We are responsible for what happens to us, but we blame others. I release the past. I let go of all the history...maybe. Family is tough, but learning a new way is tough too. We can learn and practice the truth of who we are. We are whole and complete after all. We see others as ourselves.

Explanation of Images: We blame our parents and society for not getting our childhood right. We blame our class status for our limited opportunity. Why did we have to get born a male, female, brown or pale faced? This is our life, uniquely ours, holy and whole. There is no way to compare it to another’s. We are oddly proud and guilty of our past and the choices we have made. We learn to appreciate the way we stumble through our lives. If we take a moment we can appreciate others in their journey as well. Some of us will be astronauts, princesses, and knights! We’ll be superheroes, mothers and teachers. It’s your story, let go of comparison and the guilt and resentment that comes with it. Be wholly you.
