The Fellowship of Awakening March 8, 2017
Teachers of God,
Lesson 61: I am the Light of the World
Lesson 62: Forgiveness is my function as the Light of World.
Lesson 63: The Light of World brings Peace to every Mind through my Forgiveness.
Lesson 64: Let me not forget my Function
Lesson 65: My Only Function is the One God Gave Me
Lesson 66: My Happiness and my Function are One
Lesson 67: Love Created Me Like Itself
Here we are. To access your happiness we must learn about and practice forgiveness. It's what we're here to do, right? Only because we've listened to the ego and think that there is something better to be than ourselves. Our function is to create, but to do that we must first confront what's stopping us. Forgive yourself, god, and everyone else for not making it easy. Easy isn't the creative process you crave, I'm afraid.
We're on chapter 6 talking about the Lessons of Love. What could that be? How about waking up to who you are and what you're about? What lesson do you still to learn to step into that? How about dealing with the fact that you have a body a mind and an unreliable ego. You ain't the body or the ego, those things pass. You have a mind that is programmed to plug into your place here. Listen to that. We're learning how to integrate these aspects of ourselves so we can create what we want.
Join us every Wednesday at 2067 Broadway on the 5th Floor in the Carmen Room from 7-9pm. We meet early at Gigi's Cafe at about 6pm for Fellowship, come by and have a slice and cup of Joe. We move upstairs for prayer, singing, laughing and sharing. Bring a love offering to help with the cost. See you there. Come by for a hug!!

Explanation of Images: Our bodies and our ego conspire to make us feel like puppets: glorious and spectacular puppets. When we are in service of the ego and our limited bodies we suffer. We don’t feel like we’re getting anywhere because the ego requires a great deal of maintenance. We’re not puppets. We’re the commanders of our own experience, but we’re afraid to hurt our bodies and really afraid of embarrassing our egos. That doesn’t mean we engage in risky behaviors; it means we’re not afraid to receive the information that our bodies are giving us. We have wonderful and creative minds that desire to create something here on Earth. We are compelled to move toward this creative action. We awaken to our potential, but as child gods, in need of instruction and understanding. We are waking up, stepping up, gaining courage and strength. What is before us? The awakened understanding that we are not bodies, limited egos or all alone. We awaken to our place in the world, whole and complete and listen for direction on the next right action.
