Greetings Teachers of God!
We're out the first review and onto some more uplifting like.....

Lesson 61

I am the light of the world.

To the ego, today's idea is the epitome of self-glorification. But the ego does not understand humility, mistaking it for self-debasement. Humility consists of accepting your role in salvation and in taking no other. It is not humility to insist you cannot be the light of the world if that is the function God assigned to you. It is only arrogance that would assert this function cannot be for you, and arrogance is always of the ego.
We often need a teacher to understand these ideas. Accept your function! How do we do that? Well we'll be looking at these ideas in Chapter 6: The Lessons of Love. Are you ready to go to school? Wanna learn something knew? Come on by and we'll talk about the need for a teacher, the attitude of a student and how that relates to projection, violence and how our core beliefs are essential to our development. We need to recognize the need for a teacher, but we also need to know how to be a good student. It's not that easy, contrary to our history. WE are always learning and growing, right? We're always going to be a student of life, but we're also always going to be teaching what we know.

Explanation of Images: We are going to live by a code, a system, a way of thinking, a mindset, an intent. And we’re going to apply it to everything all the time. We could cultivate one that was flexible to learning new things, perhaps. Employ the ‘Scientific Method’ to see if something is true and reliable, i.e. repeatable. But we might have to have a good teacher, be a good student, apply the ideas, ask questions, not understand, study, get it wrong, get it half right, etc. But the best way to learn anything is to do it and teach others how to do it. We’re going to be teaching our methods and ideas all the time anyway, so why not learn how to teach peace? And teach it effectively, so it’s repeatable, and reliable? Lets get to learning, shall we?
