The Fellowship of Awakening January 6, 2016

Greetings Teachers of God;
Here we go again with the Course in Miracles. It's a new year and a new understanding of this deep, deep text. Are you doing the lessons? It's okay of you don't we're going to be looking at the text in dept and using the ideas to transform our lives and our ability to experience the presence of our Creator, in which we have our existence.
This is how the Course begins:
This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all encompassing can have no opposite.
This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
We're going to look at the second section. Why get on a spiritual path? What happens, is happening at the beginning to a commitment to our own spiritual development? We'll, the course begins by telling it what it can cannot do. Section two tells us what can be spoken and what cannot be spoken. Are you ready to listen to the voice for god?

Explanation of Images: God is living and lives as us. When we are in communication with God we are experiencing the act of creation. We know who we are and what we’re about. This communication is our nature and is available with all living beings. It feels special, conditional and short lived. But the truth is, it’s not. It’s extremely reliable. Our connection with all things and our oneness with all living things is who we are. When we get on the path to our happiness and begin to take our lives seriously, and take responsibility for our thoughts and actions, it feels like we’re making something happen. What is happening is we stop the efforting of ourselves. When we effort, we create time, our body’s prominence and chase comfort and prestige. We can trust this awakening process and our choices in it.
