The Fellowship of Awakening- February 19, 2014
We are on Chapter 6: The Lessons of Love this week. You might remember this chapter from last year. We talked about the stages of awakening. They are "To Give All, Have All' which is an understanding that giving and receiving are one. It's supposed to get us to turn toward the truth or the light. The second phase is "To have Peace, Teach Peach to Learn it." which is tells us that no matter what our vocation it will be about teaching peace in some way. The last of the three is "Be vigilant only for God and His Kingdom" which is an injunction to practice the Truth. This time around we're going to be looking at something that keeps us away from these three things: ATTACK! We're going to look at "The Relinquishment of Attack". It has alot to say about the kind of teacher we're becoming. What are you learning? What are you spreading around? What are you affirming and what are you denying?

Explanation of Images:
We frighten ourselves as a result of our ignorance about ourselves and the world we live in. Do you know what habits of mind you’ve developed that derail your peace of mind? Do we know the ways in which we support our own anxiety laden lives? When we do we have learned what the ego had to teach us: what is not true. When learn the lessons of the Holy Spirit, our Godlike mind, we learn about our purpose and about our place in this wonderful world. We expand the safety and peace around us to included everyone and everything and the world responds and reflects the truth of our peace. We can learn what love is and live in that relationship or we can teach suffering. What world do you want to experience?
