The Fellowship of Awakening December 9, 2015

Teachers of God,
We're wrapping up the year. We are in the Hall of Miracles this week. "What is a Miracle?

A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false.

" and "Let forgiveness rest on all things." That would be a miracle, right? We'll that's sort of what she means when she says 'correction'. Everything is already okay. It's how we see it, the meaning and connection that we don't recognize upsets us and frightens us.

We're looking at the first part of Chapter 30: The New Beginning. Funny how that happens at the end of every year. We've started the turn toward the darkest night. We will be reborn into the light, to begin again in the new year. Are we ready to let go of what doesn't work? Are we willing to look at our fears and our desires to separate? We could be happy, you know. We could be living the life we've only ever dreamed. We could be happy this time if we make the decision to see fear for what it is. And ask for a miracle to correct our sight.

Explanation of Images: We cannot appreciate reality until we realize the ways in which we still frighten ourselves. We must examine childhood conclusions and admit that we’re making it up. We can take responsibility for the ways we still frighten ourselves. In this way we begin to choose what works in our lives. When we see fear for what it is, we are never frightened by it again. We forgive the world for the order it has. We don’t insist on understanding everything and we practice what works. When we do this consistently we find ourselves in the ‘Happy Dream’ where we have friends that love and appreciate us. We’re not alone and friendless.
