The Fellowship of Awakening- December 11, 2013

Teachers of God,
We are in the last few weeks of ACIM.  We are building the Eleventh Hall now. The Hall of Miracles: "What Is a Miracle? A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false...A miracle contains the gift of grace, for it is given and received as one." Our minds are now ready to be flexible enough to see the world from a different perspective. When we become willing to take another view, another way of looking, we experience grace. We have the AHA! "I never thought of it THAT WAY" or "I never saw that before." Those are moments of grace. Our practice and willingness create the conditions our experience of the truth beyond our opinions. We will complete the Hall of Miracles and move to the 12th Hall and then place the roof over our temple.
In these final two weeks we'll look the last section of the New Beginning in Chapter 30. It's called Changeless Reality. Does your reality change all the time? What do we rely upon? Where is our trust? How bad to we want our opinions to be true, our limited thinking to be true? Our stories of limit and lack be true? We've spent this year in practice, examining our goals, looking at the obstacles we place in our path, being honest about our passion in this world, now we have to step into that action that is ours to do. It requires a knowledge of what works, and how to recognize when we've strayed, or sunk in our heels. Do you know an illusion when you see it and what it's for?
After that we'll look at The Final Vision! Chapter 31!!
We are reading from:

Explanation of Images:

We have the opportunity to see the world as it is or keep our illusions. Reality, as the course defines it, doesn’t change. Appearances change, we can not actually rely on appearances to bring us meaning, or what we want. We crave reality, we crave the truth that a relationship with the Holy Spirit can show us. Maya can be our friend, not our jailer when see her work everywhere and are not tempted to pursue it’s emptiness. When we realize that we’re wearing rose colored glasses and see the world as we would have it be instead of Reality, we can have a miracle. The miracle of the Truth of Reality with them.  We crave the real world without filters.
