The Fellowship of Awakening August 12, 2015

Teachers of God;
Please join us this Halloween for our retreat 'The Face of Our Ancestors'. We will explore the very real felt sense of your importance in the world. When we take responsibility of our lives our actions change. Our attitudes change and we experience greater appreciation and wonder for who we are. That must be integrated, lived, and shared with others. Please join us for this weekend of Workshop, Ritual, and a Bonfire! Blessed Be!

Lesson 224

God is my Father, and He loves His Son.

My true Identity is so secure, so lofty, sinless, glorious and great, wholly beneficent and free from guilt, that Heaven looks to It to give it light. It lights the world as well. It is the gift my Father gave to me; the one as well I give the world. There is no gift but this that can be either given or received. This is reality, and only this. This is illusion's end. It is the truth.

My Name, O Father, still is known to You.

I have forgotten It, and do not know where I am going, who I am, or what it is I do.

Remind me, Father, now, for I am weary of the world I see.

Reveal what You would have me see instead.

We're going to look the final section of Chapter 19. It's called Lifting the Veil. It's the deep looking within. And we do that with and for each other. And it's not a one time thing. It's a way of life. It's an attitude. This position of deep learning, deep listening is about being who we are as the glorious beneficent beings we are meant to be. It's not a difficult thing. It's mostly about acceptance and allowance. And we do this for others as well. Practicing going past this fear of looking within, the fear of self knowledge changes everything.

Explanation of Images: We set out on a journey, perhaps long ago, and with help of our friends have found some reliable peace. We stop now. We are at the end of the journey, this seeking. We look within ourselves so that we can see others as they are, in Truth. Can we let others off the hook now? There is no better place to be than now, here with you, my brother. There is a beautiful relationship here and now to explore, expand and strengthen. But it requires self knowledge so that we don’t project on others. It did take effort to get here, to find the innocence within us; and then see it in others. Seeing this relationship is seeing Reality; the world becomes sacred with altars everywhere. Accept who you are and you will see God in all things.
